The older LE4 version came with my Canon FS2710 scanner and does NOT have curves it came out in 1996.After using curves for a decade using a program that doesnt is super odd like one has is most valuable tool taken away. My LE5 version came with my Canon FS4000 scanner it HAS curves it came out in 1998. There is also free bundled older LE4 and LE5 that comes with scanners. Elements is not a lame program more a truncated photoshop. Maybe I am wrong I have read this here but never tried any. PhotoStyler is a light, quick and simple photo enhancer designed to make digital photos look like analog style pictures, old, tattered sepia images with scratches, 30’s-like ones, and incredibly. There are some aftermarket plugins I think for Elements that add curves. I used software such as Aldus Photostyler, Altamira Composer, KPT and others. CS is a great product I am sure its replacement will be tagged as a "must have too".
#OLD PHOTOSTYLER FULL#
Getting a legal copy of full bore photoshop is important if you want to grow do upgrades stay in deep in digital photography as a living.

My first leagl copy of Photoshop 3.0 cost 600 bucks and was a great long term investment for me. I would rather use old Photoshop 3.0 with curves than Elements 2.0. It is even in old Photoshop 2.5 my first version. Elements lacks curves which is the most used tool I use for paid work. which I was given by Adobe as a replacement for Aldus Photostyler, after Adobe acquired Aldus. Elements 2.0 has alot of features that my first legal copy of Photoshop lacks. (Sorry for any typos my memory has an old timers leak). Here I bought Elements 2.0 just to help some friends learn a main stream product. Before digital I used an Adams retouching machine. I use the healing brush some but way less than older tools that are way quicker for me. In retouching work I feel the healing brush is abit overrated But I have used Photoshop since version 2.5 and before that Photostyler. Elements 2.0 has the same browser as Photoshop 7.0 of mine.
